Jason Camp

Jason Camp serves as the Tribal Treasurer of the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) Tribal Council, a position he has held since January 2016. Camp is also a member of the UAIC Development Corporation Board and the Tribe’s Compact Investment Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, one of the largest and most successful casinos in the nation.

Camp served as Chairman of the UAIC Preservation Committee from January 2014 to January 2016. Before becoming a member of the Preservation Committee, Camp worked as a Slot Ambassador, Slot Technician, Slot Supervisor, Shift Manager, and Valet at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. 

Camp previously served as the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO) for the UAIC. He has been successful in promoting and protecting the Tribe’s community presence, history and cultural resources throughout California.  

Camp works to protect tribal assets and develop programs, business opportunities, and policies that benefit all Tribal Members. He is dedicated to listening to the voices of Tribal Members while working to support elders and preserving cultural integrity.
