GUIDELINES – 2024
The United Auburn Indian Community’s (UAIC) Community Giving Committee established its Native American Firewood and Propane Program to help the Elderly and Disabled Native Americans living within Placer and Nevada Counties. This program helps to provide warmth in the winter and helps to alleviate with the high cost of heating.
Eligibility Requirements
- Complete Application
- Proof of Native American affiliation
- Must be 55 years or older; or
- Proof of disability (no age limitation)
- Residents of Placer or Nevada County
Required Attachments
- Provide Tribal I.D or provide proof of lineal descent
- Photo ID
- Disability Paperwork, if applicable
- Provide recent copy of propane bill
